Battery Care
  • Never let the battery completely discharge.

  • After the first 5 or 6 charges you will then find that the battery will then be at a maximum charge.

  • If PowerTrike is only used for short journeys (less than a mile) there is no need to recharge only after several short journeys or when you are showing red segments on the LED display.

  • You can never over charge the battery by leaving it connected, it will only benefit from this.

Routine Maintenance

  • Recharge the battery after each journey. Do not run the battery flat or you will destroy the cells.

  • Apply a little metal polish to the end of the Connecting Tube if you have any difficulty in connecting or disconnecting the PowerTrike.

  • Clean the reflectors with a soft cloth and soapy water; avoid abrasive cleaners. Wipe dry after cleaning.

  • Check and adjust the brakes as necessary

Using your power trike
The PowerTrike™ is extremely easy to drive, but like all vehicles it takes a little getting used to. The following tips will make you and your PowerTrike™ a team in a very short time.

  •  Practice in a private "Off Road" space until you get used to the PowerTrike. This unit accelerates from a standing start very quickly. So turn the accelerator grip cautiously. For the same reason, start your first practice with the front wheel pointing straight forward and give yourself plenty of space. If at anytime you want to stop the PowerTrike, reduce the throttle and apply the brake.
  • The PowerTrike turns virtually in its own length but this should not be done at high speed. So try a few turns at low speeds in a wide area until you get used to it. The PowerTrike is designed for enjoyment but please treat it with due respect and judgment and keep the speed at a reasonable rate in crowded area's.
  • Each and every PowerTrike™ is designed and manufactured to ISO9002 quality standards in one of the world's most modern factories. Our policy is of continuous improvements, so specification is subject to change without prior notice.
